Gorgeous weather today, even more beautiful than yesterday. The sea was smooth as glass and the sun was shining. We sailed off to our ususal whale watching area and quickly spotted a minke whale. It surfaced pretty close to the boat and we could watch it dive as well because the water was so clear. Several other minkes showed up, about 5 animals. They were in a sociable mood and surfaced all around the boat. There were also several pods of harbour-porpoises in the area and we watched them playing in the waves. Plenty of birds around as well, especially many arctic terns. On the way back we stopped shortly at Akurey to wave the puffins hello. A beautiful tour, full of wildlife

What an amazing tour! The weather was still beautiful, smooth sea, sunshine and blue sky. On the way out to the bay we stopped shortly at Akurey and had a look at the puffins which were plenty today. We spotted a blow in the distance and headed in that direction. It was too large for a minkie whale so we got pretty excited. And rightly so! It was a humpback whale. We followed it around and watched it surface beside the boat. Then it dived again and all of a sudden jumped out of the water in front of the boat. A breaching humpback whale is such a magnificent sight that we almost forgot about the minke whale which had surfaced behind the boat. Brilliant tour
