Tour at 10.00
“Windoweather” as Icelanders would call it this morning. Beautiful sunshine but cold and windy. Everyone simply snuggled up in our warm overalls and off we went. We tried to avoid the wind as much as possible but it was pretty rough sea. After a while we spotte a minke whale below a flock of seabirds and went over there. It wasn’t in a very sociable mood and did not want to show itself a lot so we left insearch for another whale. Shortly after we found one. And a very curious one as well. It surfaced many times around the boat and even lifted its head a bit out of the water to have a look back at us
Great ending to a difficult tour!
Tour at 14.00
Unfortunately the winds grow stronger and stronger so we have to cancel the 14.00 tour and all our puffin tours today. Better luck tomorrow hopefully!
